The Founders of London Chocolate Week, and the Chocolate Academy. This Academy will be to chocolate what the Royal Academy is to painting, acting as a purveyor of the highest quality. The objective is to improve the standard of chocolate in the UK and to educate UK consumers and trade about fine chocolate. Plans are underway for the development of a kite mark, which will enable the buyer to be confident in the quality of what is being bought.
Part of this is to be done through our chocolate appreciation and testing evenings held regularly and Chocolate Week, which runs every year in the Autumn.
